Purpose: Two move forward in the 21st Century as a
voice for all Jefferson County Sportsmen, Sportswomen, and all like minded
individuals and organizations.
To establish and foster the lines of effective
communication between our Federation the NYSDEC, State, Local, and
National Government agencies, along with other like minded individuals and
groups that seek the practices of sound conservation practices and the
promotion and preservation of our proud outdoor sporting heritage.
As stated in our By-Laws, our purpose is;

To conserve, protect, and perpetuate, forest, fish, and other wildlife,
and all other
resources
-
To interest and educate the people with respect to conservation
-
To coordinate and stimulate the efforts of individuals and organizations
interest in conservation
-
To represent the sportsman and conservation interest of Jefferson County
at the New
York State Conservation Council, and all other organizations with which
the Federation
may be affiliated.

To support and promote hunting, fishing, and trapping and all activities
thereby allied.
